I developed a comprehensive and consistent product image library for Cleenol to improve the quality and efficiency of marketing, design, and sales materials.
Using Blender 3D, I modelled Cleenol’s full range of bottle types to scale, simulating different liquid properties to accurately match real products, including opaque formulations and liquids containing abrasive beads or pumice. Because all 3D models were built at true scale, the generated images maintained proportional accuracy. This allowed groups of products to be composed in Photoshop at the correct relative sizes, giving a realistic result equivalent to an actual studio group photo.
Each render was prepared in Photoshop with adjustable layer filters to change liquid colour and linked layers for interchangeable labels. All images included precise clipping paths for seamless integration across Adobe applications such as InDesign, allowing backgrounds to be removed and creative layouts to follow the natural contours of each bottle.
Both high and low resolution versions were made available through Cleenol Cloud, providing staff and customers with easy access to accurate, ready-to-use imagery for all design and marketing needs.
This led to the creation of several animated product showcase videos over the years.
Ast & Greaves, Easidose and Osmos were among the first videos produced, with extended versions later used at in-person events such as Interclean, across social media, and within an interactive catalogue I developed for the sales team.
As my 3D skills developed further, I was commissioned to produce a bespoke video for Mobiloclean, a Cleenol customer that carries Cleenol’s Evolution X2 range under their own label.
This extended showcase features a newly modelled X2 bottle with fully poseable and animated components, allowing for greater flexibility and realism in presentation.
