Cleenol Customer Tools & Digital Platforms

I designed and developed three web-based platforms for Cleenol, aimed at improving customer access to resources, training, and online ordering.

Cleenol Cloud

The first, Cleenol Cloud, was built using Nextcloud as a central hub for the team and customers. It provides access to high and low resolution product imagery, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), Technical Data Sheets (TDS), and a comprehensive library of marketing collateral for reference and reuse.

Cleenol Training

The second platform was a training site built with Moodle, offering free COSHH training to Cleenol’s customers and their teams. By the time I left the company, the platform had organically grown to over 2,000 registered users, highlighting its success as a value-added support tool.

PGL Portal

The third project was a bespoke online ordering portal developed for Cleenol’s client, PGL. As Cleenol does not operate a general ecommerce store, this tailored solution was created to meet PGL’s specific requirements. Replacing a previous external system that failed to meet expectations, I built a custom WordPress site using WooCommerce to manage products and customer orders, ensuring a smoother and more reliable user experience..
