British Embassy – Berne
The British Embassy in Berne, Switzerland reached out for help in producing some signage for the celebration of the King’s Birthday celebration being held at the official residence.
The theme of the event was Royal Ascot, and three different styles of signage were produced that captured the style and vibe of Royal Ascot.
The client chose this particular design using a rich blue with gold illustrations to capture that feeling of royalty.
Paired with a bold, shadowed typeface to help lift the text from the background.
For a little fun, they also requested a horse and jocky lifesize cutout, a staple of the old fashioned british seaside, for guests to have their photo taken in.
This project was very last minute, with only a 1 week deadline to get all artwork created, approved and to the printers in time for the event. But it was truly an honour to have been approached by the British Embassy, and the final result really captured the theme they wanted.
